Founded in 2018 by Daimao Tang, Yundu was born from a simple observation: the world needs partitions that are neither fragile decor nor crude substitutes β but intelligent solutions for practical elegance. Today, we serve clients across 40+ countries and regions.
Our Story: Observe, Translate, Implement
Years ago, while working in a metal fabrication factory in Guangdong, our founder Daimao Tang handled partition products destined for worldwide export day after day. From family workshops in Southeast Asia to co-working spaces in Europe, he observed a common challenge: a pressing need for flexible, reliable ways to divide space β yet the market often only offered two extremes.
On one side: fragile, expensive decor that couldn’t handle daily use. On the other: crude, cheap substitutes that fell apart in months. Between these extremes lay a vast, open space dedicated to what we call “practical elegance” β products that demand not dazzling artistic statements, but intelligent solutions capable of supporting daily life and enhancing productivity.
In 2018, this observation sparked action. Daimao Tang founded Yundu and set out to build something different: a company that would bridge the gap between decoration and utility, serving real needs with honest craftsmanship.
